Privacy Policy

Slyyyde Taps ("we", "us", or "our") provides a relationship attribution and membership platform. This policy describes how we handle personal information collected through the Slyyyde Taps platform, including NFC tap pages, member accounts, event RSVPs, and SMS notifications.

The platform is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, contact us immediately for deletion.

Account data: name, email address, and a hashed password when you create an account.

Member profile data: name, title, bio, categories, and optional wallet address that you choose to display on your public tap page.

Phone number: if you choose to enable SMS notifications, we collect and verify your phone number, record explicit consent at that time, and use it only to send transactional messages you have opted into. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or through your account settings.

Connection data: when someone shares their details through a tap page (name, contact, note), we store it and share it with the member whose card was tapped.

RSVP data: guest name and optional contact information submitted when RSVPing to an event.

Deal and payout data: deal submissions, commission records, payout requests, and approval history for financial record-keeping.

Uploaded files: profile photos and any deal-evidence documents you upload are stored in private, access-controlled cloud storage.

Technical data: a one-way hashed identifier derived from your IP address, used solely for rate limiting and abuse prevention. We do not store raw IP addresses with your activity. We also collect anonymized usage analytics via Vercel Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across sites.

We use collected information to:

• Operate member profiles, tap pages, and the deal pipeline
• Attribute connections, RSVPs, and deals to members
• Calculate and process commission payouts
• Send transactional emails (password resets, deal and payout updates, reminders)
• Send transactional SMS messages to members who have explicitly opted in and verified their phone number
• Prevent abuse through rate limiting
• Maintain financial and audit records as required by law

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

If you affirmatively opt in, Slyyyde Taps may send transactional text messages about introductions, relationship verification requests, account or security activity, campaign activity, and reward or payout status. Message frequency varies based on account activity. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that support delivery of the messaging program.

We do not use purchased contact lists or pre-checked consent boxes. You may withdraw consent at any time without losing access to the Slyyyde Taps platform.

Your member profile (name, title, bio, categories) is publicly visible to anyone who taps your card or visits your profile URL. The leaderboard displays member names and aggregate deal statistics. You can request deactivation of your card at any time.

We share data only with service providers required to operate the platform. Each processes data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments:

• Neon — PostgreSQL database hosting
• Vercel — application hosting, edge functions, and analytics
• Vercel Blob — private file and media storage
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Twilio — transactional SMS delivery (only for members who have opted in)
• Workflow — durable background task orchestration

We retain data according to the following general schedule, subject to applicable law:

• Account and profile data — retained while your account is active; deleted within 30 days of a verified deletion request unless required for financial records.
• Deal and payout records — retained for a minimum of 7 years for tax and accounting purposes.
• Connection and RSVP data — retained while your account is active. Connections you submitted are deleted with your account.
• Phone number and SMS consent — retained while you have an active account or active consent. Consent records are retained for 4 years for regulatory compliance.
• IP hashes — retained for up to 90 days for abuse prevention.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights:

• Email devante@slyyydetaps.com with the subject line "Privacy Request".
• Include the email address associated with your account so we can verify your identity.
• We will respond within 30 days.
• Financial records required by law may be exempt from deletion requests.

To opt out of SMS messages, reply STOP to any message or turn off SMS notifications in your account settings.

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. These may include the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, access or correct that information, request deletion, and obtain a portable copy, subject to legal exceptions.

We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request, but we may require proof of authorization and verification of your identity.

Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. Sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies. File uploads are stored privately and access-controlled. Access to admin functions is role-restricted. No system is perfectly secure — report any suspected vulnerability to devante@slyyydetaps.com.
